BOUILLON CASTLE

Millennia old and once owned by the famous Godefroid de Bouillon, this castle is one of the oldest and best preserved in Europe.  

 

It is located on a rocky peak and entwined by the Semois. An experience for all ages!

THE ABBEY OF ORVAL

It is a flagship attraction of the region, both for history buffs and for lovers of their internationally renowned Trappist beer.

ART INTERPRETATION CENTER

The Vresse sur Semois Art Interpretation Center houses a fine collection of paintings of famous artists  from the region such as Albert Raty.

THE TOBACCO ROUTE

The Tobacco Route is a route through the region and its heritage. You will for example discover the Tobacco Museum or the tobacco factory of Jean-Paul Couvert in Corbion.

 

Between plantations, viewpoints and tobacco sheds, you will learn more about this plant and the history of its culture.

The region is full of sumptuous viewpoints, the most famous one is undoubtedly Le Tombeau du Géant in Botassart. But there are dozens of them, each more beautiful than the next.
